Simple World Salad features two extended compositions originally created for Ov Moi Omm video works: “Emerged in a Particular Moment” and “History of Humane Dietetics – You are a Drone.” These are the longest pieces on the release, each presented in full despite being divided into three segments in their video form.

Both tracks employ a cut-up approach, weaving together fragments of language—sentences and paragraphs—sourced from major newspaper articles published in 2011. The music is Experimental, Electronic, Ambient, Noise, Psychedelic, and World-influenced. As with time itself, the news is ever-shifting. By the time these pieces were completed, their source material had already aged. Yet the underlying themes remain strikingly relevant, echoing concerns that persist across years.
