I imagine space, much like the earth and no doubt other planetary bodies – not to mention other universe and their own dimensions – having different compositional matter. You know how things are different in and around and below our earth’s equator compared to what is above it? Well no doubt the same can be found in outer space – in any direction. Difference in matter and anti matter. Continuum – A multidisciplinary design consultancy. Other beings, other worlds is quite possible and perhaps if they have minds they ask and think the same thing. Some don’t, some are completely unaware of outer space – living their lives submerged in depths of oceans made of other compositional matter than our own. Bacteria exist and I doubt they think, like our own they would communicate chemically. And if they were to develop thought I am sure they would be indifferent to the idea of other beings – having spent much of their lives being indifferent to anything other than their own purposes in this universe – or another.
