Polyphony Più

At Intervals of Somnolence & Reverberation (Ep)

EP artwork for Polyphony Più – “At Intervals of Somnolence & Reverberation”. The image features two nude, long-haired figures mirrored on either side, their forms blended with a golden savannah landscape through a double exposure effect. Trees and distant shapes appear in the background, creating a surreal fusion of human and natural elements. The composition evokes themes of introspection, sleep, and resonance. Text reads “Polyphony Più – At Intervals of Somnolence & Reverberation EP”.

Polyphony Più’s At Intervals of Somnolence & Reverberation (EP) follows the earlier full‑length Oscillating Illuminations, extending its exploration of experimental sound into more intimate and dream‑like territory. The pieces here move through shifting layers of noise, ambient drift, darkened textures, and electronically inflected rhythms, with occasional traces of ethnic and ritual‑leaning motifs.

Where the LP felt expansive and outward‑facing, this EP turns inward, focusing on the thresholds between waking and sleep, presence and echo. Each track feels like a brief study in altered perception — moments where sound becomes a kind of reverberant memory, half‑formed but resonant.

At Intervals of Somnolence & Reverberation stands as a compact companion to Oscillating Illuminations, offering a quieter, more introspective angle on Polyphony Più’s evolving soundworld.
