New release — Corpus Clausura: Anaretic Degree in Retrograde
Updated: 5 days ago
Corpus Clausura: Anaretic Degree in Retrograde has now been released. This collection gathers twenty-seven works recorded between 2015 and 2023, arranged across three bodies that reflect the arc of the first 10 Echo cycle. It functions as a clausura — a closing — of the astrological era before the project moves toward its next phase.
The material spans extinction events, celestial wheels, void galaxies, ancient structures, distant superclusters, and transmissions from the edges of perception. Several pieces revisit earlier sessions in refined form, including two works originally prepared for the Om Pharaoh Records "Periods" compilation series.
Traditional imagery and ancestral photographs appear throughout the sleeves, forming a visual counterpoint to the project’s drift‑based constructions. The back sleeve carries a line from Pierre Loti (1892) that resonates with the decade’s themes:
“And then I have always the feeling that in time and space I extend a little the limits of my own soul by mingling it with theirs.”
Corpus Clausura marks the final degree before the next era begins.
