Yellow Omm is a collaborative entity within the Om Pharaoh Records universe, formed by the meeting of Ov Moi Omm and the Yellow Sunshine Microdot Happiness Band (YSMHB). The partnership first took shape along the shores of Lake Ontario in the summer of 2012, where the two projects began exchanging ideas that gradually coalesced into a shared identity.

Rather than adhering to a single direction, Yellow Omm appears periodically—each emergence offering a new experiment. Their work drifts across electronic exploration, jazz‑tinged improvisation, industrial abrasion, noise, and other unexpected forms. Every release feels like a temporary alignment of two distinct creative forces, converging just long enough to produce something neither would arrive at alone.

Within the broader OPR mythos, Yellow Omm stands as a point of intersection: a collaborative current that surfaces when the energies of its parent projects overlap, creating brief but memorable distortions in the label’s expanding landscape.
