Om Pharaoh Records presents Periods III (2021–2025), the third installment in the Periods series. Spanning hours of immersive sound, sprawling meta-narrative of electronic psychedelia, and this digital compilation continues the excavation of the Ov Moi Omm universe and its evolving constellation of musical satellites.
Originally composed of loosely affiliated experimental projects orbiting Ov Moi Omm, these groups have now coalesced under the banner of Southern Ontario’s digital label, Om Pharaoh Records—a bastion of psychedelic experimental electronic noise and sound art. Periods III offers a captivating auditory archive for enthusiasts, musicologists, collectors, and completionists drawn to the fringes of musical (and non-musical?) expression.
Exploring the era from late 2020 through 2025, this volume features:
The Ov Moi Omm track, Interovmoiommosis, presented as three of the original four responses from the EP of the same name, interpreted by Julia Felix, Pulse Burst, and 10 Echo.
Unreleased edits of:
Laniakea — the sound of galactic drift, a cosmic reflection on the galaxy-laced Laniakea Supercluster, a massive structure of galaxies and home to our Milky Way and over 100,000 other galaxies.
The Paradigm of Elohim — a metaphysical inquiry into the plurality of divine attributes, both tracks lifted from the 2023 10 Echo LP, Capricorn.
I Was Different — Ov Moi Omm’s homage to Les Rallizes Dénudés’ "But I Was Different", reimagined by Julia Felix and previously featured on their 2024 EP, Animaux violents de l'idéologie.
Additional highlights include collaborations from Julia Felix and The Royal Pop Historians &The Splendids:
Pentimento — alluding to re-emergent layers and altered forms beneath painted surfaces.
The Topography of Metaphysics & Actuality — a philosophical soundscape mapping existence, being, and the tension between potentiality and reality. Both tracks appear on her 2022 LP, Culture et Esthétiques.
For the first time, this edition features a continuous edit of the two-part Polyphony Più piece I, Circumvent You from the 2021 release Polyphony Più IV, uniting both halves into a singular listening experience.
Rounding out the release are tracks by YSMHB, ICDC, Omniman, Yellow Omm, Irama Gema, Polyphony Più, and of course, Ov Moi Omm.
